prayer request for a friend
« on: October 14, 2011, 10:53:00 PM »
Hi!

Asking for prayers for a friend of mine, David Baranowski.  He had a lymph node biopsied a week or so ago and it came back malignant.  He spent today at the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville.  They confirmed the diagnosis and started running more tests.  So far, no signs of it anywhere else but he has a PET Scan and MRI scheduled on Monday.  Please pray they dont find anymore!  Even if they do not find any more they are going to remove more of his lymphnodes and then put him through some type of radiation or chemo therapy.

He had just started a new job this week, pray for his health but please also pray that his new employer will stick with him.

And his family, wife and two sons.

Father you see the need in this family. Please cover them in your protection and show yourself strong in this time of need. Thank you for hearing us here when we bring these things up before you. I know you already know about them and have a plan in place to handle them. Father please allow this man's employer to stand with him and keep him employed through it all. Father heal him in every way that he needs healing. It is in your Holy name I ask this thing, Amen.......Dusty

Chip,

It would be a pleasure to add your friend David to my prayers!

May God's will be that he survive well, retain his job and that he and his family will be drawn closer together and closer to Him thru this ordeal!

Prayers continue for you, too, Chip and your work situation.

Lord, in your Mercy...

Praise the Lord!  All the tests so far have not shown any more cancer (CT, PET, and MRI).

Next Monday they will remove some more lymph nodes as a precautionary measure.  He will also have to do chemo or some other treatment to make sure there is nothing floating around in his blood stream.

Also, it appears all is fine with his new job but I guess he will know more tomorrow.  As he wasn't able to talk with his new boss until Sunday night about missing work today.  She seemed OK with it, but he is back at work tomorrow and should be able to get a better feel for their reaction.

David is having 8 to 10 lymph nodes removed today.  Please pray that the surgery will go well and that there will not be anymore cancer.

Thanks!

Praise the Lord!  All seems to be going well for my friend.  They have not found anymore cancer after all the scans and removing a bunch more lymph nodes.  He met with the Oncologist this week and they are going to do a treatment to take care of anything that could be floating around in his bloodstream.

His new employer told him they wanted him 100% to start his training.  They told him to take 2 weeks and get healed up.  They seemed to be very adamant that he has a job, but they just want him focused when he starts training.

Thanks for the prayers!  Please keep them going till he is completely through and settled in his new job!
