Prayers for my grandson
« on: November 17, 2011, 06:34:00 PM »
Please include my 1 1/2 year old grandson Kody in your prayers.  He is having surgery on Monday morning at 7:30 to remove a cist from his neck/throat.  He is way too young to be having things like this happen. Please keep him in your prayers.
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me [some] venison

Got Kody covered thru Monday...and beyond.

There is no age limit for the vagaries of what we've done to foul our nest here on Mother Earth.

Let's claim His healing and believe it before it happens!

Prayers that the surgeons hands will be guided by divine power. That can only mean a positive outcome.

Just got back home.  Surgery was 1 1/2 hours and they removed the cist and the thyroid bone.  He was not a happy camper. He ripped the IV out of his hand and in doing so stuck it in his leg.  But the best part of the morning was when he got to his room, his dad was holding him and he seen grandpa, out came the arms and he laid on my chest for over and hour.  This is until he was awake enough to see his Mom standing there, and then it was all over...lol.  What a boy.  They have to watch him carefully for the next 6 hours, and depending on the outcome, he may come home later tonight, or have to stay for observation.  Not sure yet.

That "laying on grandpa's chest" was the best 90 minutes of your life the past 2 yrs, huh, Pappy?!

  :D

Prayers continue for a good outcome and him to do what he's got to for him to get well w/out complications.

keeping prayers going, Charlie

I have a 14 month Grandson who thinks I hung the moon. Can't no one do anything from him when Papa is around. I wouldn't have it any other way. He is one of the best things I have had happen in my life. I also have 2 grandgirls but they are Nana's baby's and Papa has to be second. God gives us these little fellows to remind us that our jobs as fathers are not finished. We are to continue to "Train up a child in the way he should go" and be a wittness of God's grace and mercy. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I will pray for this little fellow as I know you don't want to see him suffer.

Had Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter, son-in-law and the family, and he is doing fine.  Ate almost a whole can of cranberry sauce by himself...lol.  When I got ready to leave, here he comes running, hands wide open and mouth to give grandpa his hug and kiss, and then says "bye bye".  What a wonderful day.

Glad you got with Family, Charlie! Excellent news that the tyke is doing so well.

Hopefully, he swallowed all that cranberry "goo" before he laid a wet one on ya!  :)  But you wouldn't have cared anyway.

Thanksgiving to God for your improved health to be with family and Thanksgiving to God that your grandson came thru well and safe!

Prayers continue.
