Thanks for the kind words. You folks are like a family to me and it means a lot.

I just committed to buying a bow from the classifieds and believe it or not while I was lying on the road I actually thought if I don't make it the fella would think ill of me when I never followed thru on it.

Just like me to worry about my integrity in a situation like that. I should say integrity and Longbows!

Integrity is what separates the few from the many...

All the bike accidents I've known of good friends were because someone else screwed up!Riding safe can only go so far when it comes to other people's behaviors!

Praise God you're ok and that so many others shared they too have cheated death on their bikes.

Lord knows I heal way too slow and don't bounce good to even ride the back anymore... much as I always found it quite the thrill.

Be careful out there riders! Dan, ribs heal pretty quickly, but don't sign anything too fast...some injuries take a while to surface in an incident like that!

Really hit me when you referenced Chris' situation... goes a while without thinking about that till it's brought back up.

Keep the Son in your eyes!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

So sorry to hear of this, Danny. I hope you heal quickly and well. Sorry for the loss of your "bike" as well. May the good Lord help you stay in good spirits, once you get past the initial shock and pain.

Heal up and , take care ! spent 4 months in a wheelchair and 4 months on crutches, 3 seasons ago, girl on cell phone decided she needed our lane more than we did, full speed head on.  You are a lucky man could have been alot worse !  Late season isn't to far off, you might get lucky twice. Todd

Glad you will only miss this season!!  At least you can type and hang here.  Though in someways that can be hard if you can't get out.  I hope you heal fully and quickly!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

That sucks. Glad you are still here to talk about it and heal quickly.

I have not regretted selling my bike. Riding was much to stressful with all the idiots in this world. Too many close calls before cell phones, think it would be 10 times worse now.

I do miss the occasional hot day where I would love to hit the country though when hay is cut.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Hope you get better soon. I sold my Harley as there are too many people unaware of motorcycles on the road today.
