May God's Grace be on Zip and the medical team as he is brought back to consciousness and all goes well.

Lord, in your mercy...

Sure do get an education on this site...I didn't realize they would bring someone out of a coma over a 3 day period...

Redoubling prayers this Sunday AM for Zip to come out with nothing more than a headache...

Lord, in your Mercy... hear our prayers.

They have to wean him off it over several days in case his brain starts to swell during the process.

Wow... Doc's don't have it easy and it's so easy to critique them when it goes wrong...

Just never knew they did that so gradual.

Prayers continue...for Zip and for his medical team!

Wes,

Sorry to hear things look bleak.  HOpefully, the Lord's will for Zip is full recovery and Zip will fight from wherever he is inside that body and battered brain and make it back to embrace his family.

Prayers continue for God's will and the Peace that passes all understanding to be with his loved ones and friends.

They told the family they were going to have to decide weather or not to take him off the breathing machean around 7 tonight but just got word that the last cat scan showed improvement so they are going to leave him on it for a few more days. Please keep the prayers coming.

Wes,
I'm sorry for your loss of a good man in your world.

God always answers prayers, but sometimes His answer is a caring "NO"--- His will is perfect in an imperfect world.

Prayers for God's peace to wrap his family and loved ones tightly and hold them thru this difficult time.

I lost a good HS friend mysteriously in a freak situation. His widow and I have conferred and agree that if he'd have had to live with serious limitations, he'd have gone berserk and taken everyone with him... God's will is always best in the long run...

Prayers for peace and strength for all.

Prayers for peace and healing of the family.  So sorry for the loss.  It is never easy.

The funeral is tomorrow we have been working on his place since Saturday thring to get it ready for his burial. I wouldn't beleave it if I hadn't seen it myself but we moved a mountain.  Well at least the top part of it. We finally got the proper paper work to get to bury him up there but they weren't going to stop us even if we hadn't. His dogs usually won't let anyone get out of there vehicle unless Zip was there but they haven't bothered anyone. They know he isn't coming back. I have attended a lot of funerals but this is one I truly don't want to have to go to. Please continue to pray for the family in this time of need.

Prayers for strength & comfort
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Wow....

Sounds like Zip was quite a man to generate such emotion. Amazing bit about the dogs.

Know God's peace, Wes, and His strength. HE brought you to this and will get your all thru this.  Even Christ cried for His friend, Lazarus. It's ok.

The next MONTHS and YEAR will be the hardest for his family.

Lord in your Mercy...
