In need of prayer
« on: March 28, 2012, 07:00:00 PM »
I took a fall yesterday while doing my morning walking.

I was told today that I broke a vertebrae in my middle upper back.

It feels like someone is trying to separate my right shoulder from the rest of my body.

Thank you in advance!

God bless,Mudd

Ya was wearin yer kilt again huh and forgot about them bees being about with this warm weather, eh, Laddie!

Serioiusly, it doesn't sound pleasant... and after having some surgery last year on some vertabrae for other reasons, I can only imagine how it hurts!

Take your calcium supplements, do ONLY what they tell you but stay as active as allowed and keep the blood moving!

Prayers for peace, healing and a major reduction in pain soon!

Prayers sent Mudd.  I hope they find it not to be true and your healing is quick.

Thank you for your prayers.

I go in today to see what can be done.

Any coughing or sneezing makes for a real problem. It feels like someone has stabbed me in my back.

I shot my bow a couple of times but on the advice of some folks smarter than me I have held off on any more shooting until I see the Dr.

Thanks again to al of you!

God bless,Mudd

Just got home from the VA hospital.

They say that there is pressure on a nerve but the xrays don't give them all the info they need to make a determination about how to best proceed.

I'll be going back for a ct scan for a better look, in the meantime they put me on a couple more meds to relieve the pain.

Thank you for the prayers!!

God bless,Mudd

Mudd,

Don't let them dawdle... keep pressure on them to get tests done. It took an MRI,not CT to show how arthritis was built up on the spine side of my vertabrae and pushed in on my spinal column till it was nearly flat!

They told me that the longer pressure is on the nerve stem, the longer it takes to "heal" and get back pain free.

Keep the pressure on them, not your spine! Pill only dull it, don't fix...

Prayers continue for them to push toward closure!

Keep the Son in your eyes!
