Been going through the same stuff for nearly 4 years now and it isn't a picnic but pour out your heart to God. Let Him know how you hurt over this and He'll carry you through. Praying for strength, comfort, and healing for your mom.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

My prayers go out for your mom, you, and your family.
You are stronger than you think.

Robert,

Good news.  Thanks for sharing with us and best of prayers and well wishes for healing, strength and re-ordering of priorities to realize tomorrow is never a "given" on this blue marble.  Share love and tears with those who matter... life here has an expiration date, but life with Him is everlasting.

We shall all meet again at another time and place.

May your Mom be here with you a good long while and find strength and joy in her recovery!
