Continued prayers for healing and common sense...   :D

Thanks everyone.  Got a real good report yesterday during my post operative visit.  The Dr. was very pleased with the results and my recovery since the operation.  Right now is the "silver lining" part of the process as the Dr. called it since I am feeling better, but the right side has not seen a lot of the things it needs to yet.  When it does, there will be bad days as it learns to read and tell my body what to do.  A long long road to walk yet, but with small steps, he said his goal was to get me back to the quality of life I had before getting this dreadful disease.

I can tell a lot of difference already, to the positive side, and hope that continues.  I just have to learn to slow down, take my time, and not over load what little brain I have up there...lol.  That could be a problem in it's self...lol

Thanks again everyone, and hope to see some of you on a range someday

Charlie, patience, Grasshopper... this will all pass quickly but don't push the envelope at your age!
I don't know if I'd let Doc get away with that age remark Charlie    ;) . Thankful that things are going well and prayers for continued healing and a successful return to a good quality of life.

Charlie posted elsewhere that the Doc told him the "silver lining" would break...and this AM, while not a bummer or a bust, it was as "robust" as the recent days...with some mild setbacks which he knew to expect and endure.

As his right side takes over for all balance function, there are times when it (right) gets confused and things don't go so well.

Today wasn't a stone, but wasn't a diamond.

I'm sure he covets our continued prayers as the hills and valleys pass beneath his feet on this journey toward permanent improvement and a life of full function once more!

I visited with Charlie yesteday at Canopyboy's house.
It was great to see how well he looked, and the increased strength in his step. Also a treat to sit quietly and eavesdrop on bowmaking conversation, as I am a wealth of ignorance in that field.

So good to see you again, my friend!

Thanks Kathy and Ben.  It was really nice to sit down with you and Dave Sunday.  And I am impressed with the way you are shooting those Hill bows.  Things are getting better in some areas, but still a long way to go in others.  It will just take some time, and it seems as though I have plenty of that left....lol

Thanks again everyone and God Bless

Hi Charlie,

I'm very glad you are doing better!  I have been routing for you all along.  Please keep your mind positive and let your body heal...if you don't get to the woods in October, the deer will only get bigger!

Please take care,
Dino
