In need of prayers
« on: September 13, 2012, 12:45:00 AM »
Not even sure how to begin this.
Since our present Leader took office I've lost appx. $60,000 per year income due to customers leaving my business, all stated it was because of economy.
For the past 24 years I've been in the landscape & Lawn Maintenance business, commercial & Residential.
Been barely hanging on this past year, praying for a change in DC, hoping business would begin picking back up. At least to the point where I felt confident about being able to cover all business and personal expenses each month.

Well, between 1:30am and 7:00am Wednesday morning someone basically put me out of business, My Truck, Trailer, and $50,000 in equipment were Stolen right from my driveway. These guys were Pro's, my dog who doesn't miss anything was sleeping 15' away from the trailer, (but inside the house), he never barked once. (He raises cane if an armadillo walks through the yard at night.) I have no idea how this could have been accomplished without him hearing anything. Everything was locked, and outside security lights were on.
So far Law enforcement hasn't been much help either. None of the local or State agencies would do anything before report was filed by city Police. They didn't complete their report till 3:00 this afternoon. By then my livelyhood was probably in Miami, Tampa, or maybe even Georgia chopped and out for sale.

Now I'm scrambling trying to find a vehicle, trailer, and equipment before losing any of my remaining customers.
Things aren't looking good, I'm definitely in need of prayer.

Caney Creek may be put on hold this season for me cause I doubt the funds will be available to fulfill my part of the business this year after incurring this big of a loss. And it's looking as though insurance will be of minimal help also.
Right now I just feel devastated.

Prayers sent. I hope they find your items and it will be a quick recovery.

Praying for wisdom and God's best

BB,

I can not imagine the loss and violation personally you must feel. I got "Burglaed" in MT once...no, 2x. Once broke into my truck and stole stuff...next they broke into a storeroom and cleaned me out of many things...but not a livelyhood!

I'm so sorry for your loss...

Perhaps, and I hate to sound "rosey" in this hour of need, but it's God's way of redirecting you to another career path since this one was dwindling so badly???

One country in S. America that had a vigorous economy had one term of a socialist president and they're still in the tank...

Where life closes one door, sometimes, God opens another..

Prayers for peace, DISCERNMENT and resolve to listen and follow His nudging.
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Brother, I don't know what to say other than the Lord only allowes or closes one door so he can open another.  I agree we need change in our leadership.  I agree the scum that stole your trailer deserves to know what it fees like to work for a living and struggle.

Keep the faith.  Stay observant to the blessing coming and dig in.  I'll pray for you.  God Bless
