Mr. LaClair is in the Hospital
« on: October 16, 2012, 08:57:00 AM »
Ron called me last night and said he was in the hospital.  Some pneumonia coming on and some heart issues that he did not elaborate on.

Please send a prayer along.

Thank you,

Gregg

I texted him last night, asked him if he needed anything...his response "If I don't get some whiskey I'm gonna die!!"....one of his favorite lines from The Mountain Men movie.

He's rawhide tough and ornery....I worry more about the hospital folks than him. He's gonna be fine.

I talked to him about noon. He said he got the head nurse pretty excited....she kept finding knives and confiscating them. His neck knife was the last straw. He told me he was able to stash his Swiss Army knife before they did the final search. He and the nurse disagreed as to whether they were "weapons" or "tools"...

Prayers sent to the nursing staff...  :archer:

Hmmm, I wonder if he was carrying a LaClair Bowie on him?? That WOULD get them a little excited.

Good to hear things seem to be progressing well enough. Prayers continue for full recovery quickly.

Ron better be a bit careful...he'll wake up with his hair and beard shaved off...nurses ain't to be messed with---ya never know what pills they're giving ya!

Prayers continue. Thanks for keeping us updated.
