Gotta get the man ready for the hunting season. A big Texas prayer sent for his speedy recovery. Everytime I wear my longhunter shirt I think of Ron and what he has meant to traditional bowhunting. Long live people like him.  :campfire:    :archer2:

Thank you everyone for the prayers and well wishes. They cut me loose from the hospital yesterday, it sure feels good to be home.

I had a problem with phenomena, then a little problem with the old ticker not beating as strong as it should. They're going to try to stabilize it with medication so hopefully that will work out. Thank you again for the prayers......

If the meds don't work out, I'd suggest one home remedy: EAT MORE GRITS!

Thanks fellows.. The bad thing about this is that the doctor strongly recommended that I not go to deer camp. He said it would be best that I stay close to a good hospital until the pump gets stronger.

I was supposed to leave for Shrew Haven yesterday and I'm really bummed that I'm not up there..   :(  This is the first time that I've missed camp in the 22 years since I've had it...   :campfire:

The rest of the Shrew Crew is up there and they call me every day to fill me in and tell me how much they miss me...that helps...I think...

Ron pour yourself a little one, get a TJ book off the shelf, put your feet up and you will be there with them for sure. Best be safe.

Ron,

The word is that the deer around Shrew Haven are all celebrating and sent a turkey to your doctor for recommending that you not go hunting.

I was detained by the female customs agents in Australia in July when I did not declare the knives and broadheads in my checked baggage as weapons. I wanted to ask them whether they thought their kitchens were armed with weapons or whether they only used spoons. Then I came to my senses and kept my mouth shut! They let me keep my "weapons."

Glad you are getting around. I'm just wondering if the discharge from the hospital was letting you out or throwing you out.   :D

That has to be tough, Ron, but rather give up one year and then have many more full years than to push it when things aren't quite as they should be.

Keep the spirits high and the blood pressure low!

Pulling for ya!

Prayers from many for your total healing!
