More then hard
« on: December 14, 2012, 04:06:00 PM »
this weekend I am moving from the home Donald loved- he loved it very much and this is the last place he was happy- truly happy happy happy- He said a year ago when we moved in that he wanted to die in this house- well part of that came true- he passed- just in midland in a car alone instead of here with me.  I could really use some extra prayers right now- I am consumed with sorrow- I miss him so much.  he was an amazing man and now I have to figure this thing out on my own.  so very alone.

I understand how alone you must feel, but please know that you are not. Nothing anyone can say is adequate. Thank you for letting us try to comfort you.

Kimber,

Alone is a feeling...real, poignant and powerful.

Reality is that Don is still with you. His spirit rests in your heart and is with you daily, just like Jesus.

You are not alone.  You are among those who care and feel your pain, but grief is a process and as in any process, there must be a beginning, a middle, and thankfully, an end to the torment and agony of pain.

You will always love and miss Don, but the pain will subside and the Sun will continue to rise.

Keep the Son in your eyes till then!

Please take solace in knowing there are many people praying for you in your time of loss.

Donald may not be at your side, but you are not alone; his spirit and memory are with you; your family and friends are praying for you.

Do not be afraid to continue to ask for payers when you need them.

May God make his presence known to you; may you keep your heart and mind open to Him so that you will recognize His grace and find comfort in His mercy.

How empty words must feel to you right now as all you can hear is the breaking in your heart. Pain has a way of making hearing and seeing almost impossible. Almost!!!! So I offer only words that our Father can hear on your behalf. I stand beside you in prayer asking for your protection in this time of sorrow and pain. We here on this site are standing guard for you while you morn and come to that place of healing and peace. We stand covering you in prayers asking for your protection this day and every day.......Dusty

Kimber,

Grief is a process, not an event.  I'm sorry you still feel so at odds with Don's passing! I truly do.

I know both you and Don had tremendous faith.  God will bring you thru this and it is NOT a sign of less love for Don to allow yourself to again find Peace and Joy.

Keep the Son in your eyes! Prayers for Peace that surpasses all earthly understanding!

The first of each month was tough for me for a solid year. So I know where you're coming from. After six years the days before "the day" and the day is still pretty tough. I'm just saying this to let you know that we do manage. I hope and pray that you are having some good days. Do you have someone to spend some time with? I can always pm you my number if you would like to talk.

Kimber,

What do you think Don would say about you falling apart?

Is it easy, no but God will get you through it. There is no closer bond that that of twins, I can tell you that is a fact. We were so close that we knew what each was thinking before it was said. I litterally felt every heart attack he had except the last one but I knew something was wrong even before I got the call. I miss him every day but he is always in my heart. It is hard but you get through. For me it is just a matter of accepting it and asking for the Lord's guidence and strength. Now if I start to feel down I just pick up a bow and go shoot and he is with me.

Nakohe lives in our hearts and always will and I know he would want you to move on. You will always miss him but you have to live your life. Grieve but Gods love will guide you and give you strength. Get out of the house and do things you like to do and do some of the things you used to do with him, he will be with you.

Live life and rejoice, that is what he did every day and I know he wants the same for you.
