Prayers, please
« on: January 18, 2013, 03:19:00 PM »
Please keep my Mom and Dad in your prayers. Mom had a heart attack in the middle of the night Wednesday night. She's currently in the hospital and is undergoing tests. Thanks, y'all!

Dude...

That stinks! I will surely keep your folks both in prayers and ask special angels to watch over your Mom.

Keep us posted!

Andy, may the Great Physician tend to your mother and hold her in His arms. May He give His angels charge over you and your family, that they may guide you all to better health and happier times. Father be with Andy and his family in this time of need and trial. May Your mercy, love, and power be with them and keep them. In all things, may Your will be done, and we humbly pray these things in Jesus' most holy Name. Amen.

Be strong for your family, and love them. This too shall pass, and you will all be the better for it, in strength and love.

Praying for you, brother, keep us posted.
Matt

Andy,

Don't dwell on those moments of lost focus. It happens to the best and worst of us! That whole 70x7 forgiveness thing sometimes refers to us forgiving ourselves in moments of emotional pain...

God knows and understands our weakness at times...which is why He sent His only Son to save us... Pretty cool stuff right there.

Prayers continue for your Mom... and so many others...

Thanks to all for your prayers and support. Mom is home and will be having a CT scan tomorrow (Monday) to complete her cardiac evaluation. The aortic valve in her heart has mineralized and isn't closing properly/completely. It will have to be replaced, and a stent will be placed in one of her coronary arteries to help hold it open. Thanks again, y'all.

I have a good friend with a family history of heart valve issues. He had a pig valve in some many years ago...now has a mechanical one...

He was up and around shortly after surgery... He hunts, drags deer, climbs trees...said only thing is when it's really quiet, he can sometimes here the valve functioning which would be a bit weird!

Looking to hear good things about your Mom and her future!

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Thanks y'all. Mom is home and doing well. She has had a stent put in her right coronary artery and will have her aortic valve replace at a time yet to be determined. At least the threat of myocardial infarction has been alleviated by the stent.
