Prayer for Adler
« on: March 19, 2013, 09:31:00 AM »
Some time back we had been praying for Adler, a now 11 year old who's left lung was full of cancer. Adler has been cancer free but recently has been having pain in his lung and back when he runs. The Drs did an xray but the family hasn't gotten the results yet. Adler's blood work came back ok which is a good sign. So please pray for Adler and family that everything is ok.
Thanks!
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Prayers from here for that courageous young man!

Keep us posted and we'll keep Adler in prayer.

Good news!

Dear friends, We thank you for your prayers and well wishes. We did get results back from the doc. today and he concluded that there was nothing on the x-ray that would lead him to think we had an issue. His diagnosis was that Adler is still being effected by his chemo. He said Adler may be working through this for a year. He is only into 6 to 7 months into being off chemo. Needless to say we were relieved. Please forgive us for being a little anxious about this. It just seemed to close to the symptoms Adler had just before he was diagnosed.

So tonight, please take some time praise God for his mercy and grace. I don't know about you, but I can't wait until the day we do not have to worry about cancer, death, pain ...... ever again. Come Lord Jesus!!! Much love to you!!!

That is one powerfully faithful set of parents right there and no better advice was ever shared.

Amidst all the prayer requests here, it sometimes gets overwhelming to see all the grand prayers already answered in our midst!

Thank you Lord for your answered prayers and for many for which you gently say "no, not now".

Lord, we thank you for your Mercy and Grace. Amen.
