Prostate cancer surgery: Tom Kidwell-4/2
« on: March 30, 2013, 01:01:00 PM »
I'd posted some time back that Virginia based Tom Kidwell, who moved to OK for the trad hunting, ran a muck of Prostate Cancer. He's having surgery 4/2 and I'm sure would appreciate prayers.

he's written a couple good books on bowhunting and and expose on American Feral Hog.

Prayers for this robotic procedure to be 100% effective and the cancer is contained in the prostate gland.

Keep the Son in your eyes, Tom!

Prayers for a good friend, a great hunter, and story teller.  Prayers go up Tom for a complete and full healing of this demon that has invaded your body.  God heals all that follows him.

Prayers from Virginia for a quick and full recovery for Tom.   May God grant Tom and his family comfort as they await the operation of this week.

Your prayers are very much appreciated, my friends.  I'm OK with this, and ready to get the cancer out of me & get on with life.  There is so much more I want to do.  I know it has to end sometime, but not just yet... know what I mean?  I'm going into this with a good attitude, and with the prayers of my friends, I'll be back chasing critters in no time.  Thanks again for your prayers... they have touched me very deeply.

My surgeon feels confident that he got all of the cancer cut out. Will know for sure on July 1st when I go back for 90-day follow-up tests. Hurting pretty bad right now, but just thankful surgery is over. Thank you for your prayers and e-mails! Hope to see you on the trail soon!

Thanks for posting, Tom!!! Sorry you're hurting, but I can't imagine that type of surgery would NOT hurt!    :scared:

Prayers will continue for a zero PSA and all other good things!

Heard from Tom last week. He said he's weaning himself off the pain pills, learning to let folks help out who offered (like mowing lawn), getting 30+ phone calls and tons of emails daily and really appreciates all the wonderful prayers and thoughtfulness he's experiencing...

Thank you Lord. He finds out soon if they got all the cancer or what might be next.

Prayers continue for Tom to have complete recovery.
