Good News. Kurt opened his eyes and was able to complete a few basic tests like stick your toungue out.

He turned his head saw his wife. winked and smiled.

docs are not sure how much brain damage may have occurred and are still sayin Miracle.

Keep the prayers coming. He still has a long way to go.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

We're praying for him.  I've seen miraculous recoveries from what should be fatal brain damage.  My prayer is that his will be as well.

Prayers for full restoration to continue.  I bet his wife lost it when he winked at her.

May he and his family Keep the Son in their eyes!

Kurt is doing a bit better every day.  Now I pray that He can have the patience to get as much rehab as he can to get as well as possible.

He can lift his legs about 3 inches now. Short term memory doesn't seem to work.  They are talking about transferring him to a rehab center closer to home.

Kurt is getting frustrated and I pray he doesn't do more damage than good.
Relax,

Attitude will be everything as Kurt progresses thru this.  Some quit and get angry and others see the challenge and are committed to getting all they can out of life with the change.

I will continue to pray that Kurt joins the latter ranks rather then the first.

Surely is understandable that at this early stage, he would find it frustrating to know he didn't do anything wrong, and is dealt this devilish hand---

Perhaps those close to him can get a counselor to sit down with him and look at the situation more clearly as time progresses and help him transition to what is---?

Prayers for all concerned for wisdom, insight and perseverance and total reliance on God's Grace.

Kurt is coming back to his home town this week to start a long road of physical therapy.

Just 1 week ago he couldnt move his legs.  Today with the help of staff and a walker he has done 3 laps around his bed.

this young man's determination and will to live are still baffling doctors.  They continue to say Miracle. He should have been dead 10X over, even at that he should have had any brain matter left and certainly should have never been able to have the use of his body.

Prayers progress continues and his short term memory comes back so he can get back to playing with his children.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Great news, Charlie.  Sad, sad situation generated by irresponsibility of others, but GREAT NEWS!

I hope he gets good rehab there at home.  PT can vary so greatly one place to another.

Prayers will continue, beseeching God's Mercy to be for Kurt's full healing!

Kurt is back in his hometown.  Therapists have never seen someone make so much progress so fast.  They say if he continues to work hard and improve as he has, he will be able to go home and do outpatient rehab.  That will probably bring its own set of challenges but...... At least he has seen his children now for the first time in about a month.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

I visted Kurt Today. His stubborn soul made it to my brothers wedding today.  to say it was emmotional was an understatement.

His family and himself are very strong.  the international support has been incredible.

He is still wheel chair bound and has a long way to go.

His wife is a saint and stronger than ever.  I met the parents and in laws, they are nothing less than great people.  Its amazing the strength and support for this young man.

Miracles are very real.  Here is a prime example!

Prayers for kurt and his potential return home in 2 weeks.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

That's a wedding nobody will forget!  Excellent news he was able to get out and be participating in life even if currently in a wheelchair.

Prayers continue for God's will to be for his recovery!

Amazing he is even alive, after sucking C02 for a night like that!

I'd say those 3 steps are HUGE!

Thank you, Jesus!!! Prayers continue for Kurt to keep trying and never give up!
