Just recieved news that my niece is on life support and not expected to recover. Was admitted to the hospital last week and had a massive stroke yesterday. No brain activity, massive swelling in the brain, pupils non responsive. She was taken off life support last night or early this morning and is still breathing on her own but with no brain activity it does not bode well, Dr. says a matter of hours. It has been a hard year with loosing our brother last October and now she is faced with loosing her daughter. She had a blood infection and her kidneys were failing when she was admitted along with contracting Hepatitus A. Pray to the Lord to give her mercy and an easy passing and to shore up my sister and her family during this trying time. Amen

Prayers for God's peace to be on your Niece in this time of transition and for the Peace that passes all human understanding to be on your sister and her family.

My uncle, while dying of bone cancer, took me aside to explain his view of "being healed by faith". I'd asked "what if you're not healed?" for I was afraid it might rock his foundation of faith. Instead, his testament elevated my own faith immeasurably.

He looked at me, put his arm around my shoulders and quietly whispered in my ear, "David, even Death is God's perfect healing for there is NO Death for the true believer, just a new life!"

Although here spirit was gone when they took her off life support, her body kept breathing for several hours and then her body passed. My sister was with her and said she felt a breath of air enter the room and knew that our brother was there to take her hand and lead her home. This was while she was still on life support and the Doctors said she was brain dead. I pray to the Great One to ease the pain and suffering of my sister and thank him for taking Delana in his arms and chasing the demons away at last. Amen
