prayers for my wife please...
« on: October 07, 2013, 10:17:00 PM »
Asking for prayers for my wife.  She has been having a lot of pain in both arms for a couple months, pain is always there, sometimes worse than others. Heck, a lot of times it hurts to lift a drink glass.Doctor has been trying everything from meds to therapy... not helping. He sent her to a orthopedic specialist which she seen today. Her parents both were diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis about fifteen years  apart.  The specialist today thinks she has more than just tendonitis, etc going on since both arms are hurting. He has her scheduled to see a rheumatologist . She is very worried and upset. I am also, but trying to keep her from knowing it. I could use strength prayers also... really appreciate it folks.

Lanier,

was away and may have missed this or it just went up this AM w hile running errands.

I was diagnosed some time back with DISH arthritis. Nobody said much and never really knew I had THAT--- just that ole Uncle Arty Ritis had come to stay like everyone else in the family.

This past 18 months, I was w/out insurance after being laid off.  Until Medicare kicked in, then got to see Rheumy Doc, Ortho Doc and started PT. It helped.

Lots of variations to the theme w/ Uncle Arty's clan... may they find the root cause, find a way to help her manage the discomfort and keep mobile to stave off more advanced issues!

I have to exercise daily, pain or not, and it sucks. I was never into being a "body nazi" and doing a lot of grunt and sweat... but if I cheat, I pay big time!

PRayers for healing, insight and strength!

Hey Brother Lanier,
Sorry to hear of your bride's challenges. She is on the prayer list as of right now.
Not to butt in but a friend has gotten considerable relief from arthritis symptoms through accupuncture. It also helped me with nerve damage after a car wreck.
God's Peace,
Jed

Dear Lord,…Please hear the cries of the family and those of this child of yours.

If it be your will, have mercy and grant her healing and peace.
