Cancer update
« on: August 26, 2014, 02:42:00 PM »
Had a ct scan Thursday and met with the Oncologist yesterday. The cancer continues to return and he indicated there are 3 nodules showing up. He wants to have another scan in November and then try 2 different chemos that he has had better results shrinking the tumors with. These are given out patient so shouldn't be as bad as the last two. Still feeling great thank God.

Praying for you Galen.....
Time spent alone in the woods puts you closer to God.

"Can't" never accomplished anything.

Chemo is never a "cake walk" but you've done very well. But your attitude is a large part of your blessings, I'm sure.  You have been a role model for me thru our association, Galen, and continue to remain so!

I will continue to ask God's blessing on you and His Will being perfect, I will pray for a release from this mess, according to His Will....and your benefit!

Lord in your Mercy....

Ill be praying for you and it sounds like you walking with God and in Isaiah 40:29 the bible says "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." If you remain with God His power and light will shine through you and He will give you the strength you need. God doesn't give us things we cant handle. I do know that the fact that you are holding strong to your faith even with cancer most definitely shines outwardly and impacts everyone around you. The most meaningful differences we can make are the one we don't even realize we are making.

God's strength,
  Grant

Galen, You and a lot of other fellow archers prayed for me when I was told I had CML, this was six years ago. I will be praying for you and all our friends. Take care my friend and lay your problems at the masters feet.
  God Bless you! Matt
