Another prayer request
« on: September 25, 2014, 11:45:00 AM »
I feel bad asking for prayer when everything is going well, but I know that the Lord is concerned with the smallest of my worries.

I will be traveling on a hunting trip leaving my beautiful Wife and wonderful Son alone for a while. I would really appreciate it if you would remember them in your prayers. How ever the Lord leads you will be fine. But I would like prayers that my Wife and Son would be safe as they go through there day. That the Lord would place a hedge of protection around them and our home. That every time she gets in the car that it would start that the garage door would open every time. That my boy would be on his best behavior and that all go well at home while I'm away. That they would have peace at night and sleep like babies. And if you have the time, that Lord give me the wisdom to be a good witness to those around me. Also a nice big fat black bear would be nice   :) .

Thanks everyone. Its really nice to have a place to come to and ask for prayers.

God Bless

Gilbert,

I've seen pics of that young boy's impish grin... I'm thinking only the Lord himself could put that grin on full "best" behavior!

Enjoy your hunt! Time spent away sweetens the return!  That family of yours is way precious, I can tell, so, I will indeed say prayers that the Lord keep angels guarding them night and day.

As for the buck, being "out there" is reward among God's own... Be it his will, shoot straight and track well, Pilgrim!  :)

Keep the Son in your eyes!

Just wanted to thank everyone for your prayers.

God is very good. The trip was a good trip with no problems and good weather. My family did well with no problems, Thank you Lord.

No animals were killed on this trip but I had some spectacular views and special times with friends.

Thanks again.

Good for you, brother!! Says a lot you were on a dream hunt and concerned for family back home!

Glad all went well.  Big hunts seem to be more about the place and times had than game!
