Prayers and a rosary for Mr. Gene and his loved ones.  Pretty tough old bird, but prayers can't hurt.

I visited Gene in the hospital yesterday.  He was in good spirits and had a copy of Trad Bowhunter for reading material.  Gene says he feels fine.  They want to check him out more thoroughly today just to make sure there is nothing more serious that needs to be fixed.  If all goes well he will probably be released tonight or tomorrow.  While visiting, the nurse came in to deliver him his lunch.  With a somber voice, he asked whether he would be able to play the piano after being released from the hospital.  The nurse asked Gene if he currently plays the piano.  Gene replied, "no!"
