Low iron will make you feel like you was rode hard & put up wet...

LIving in MT I was once low on IRON for some unknown reason... gave me a supplement (RX type) and in a week, I was back in fighting trim.

Prayers for same for you, Galen!

Got a pint and a quarter in me and I feel like a new man. My wife is eyeing the todo list now

Now that right there is funny...does it RAIN in NM?

I echo Bob's sentiments that you're feeling uplifted with having been a quart low!

Hope that doesn't recur, but God's Will, not ours, Brother!

Well I'm scheduled for a scope from both ends to see where the blood is coming from. Hope I don't leak too much before the appointment. Makes me wonder if they'll shake hands when they meet in the middle    :scared:

One of the side effects of this drug is colitis and bleeding.

It seems like with modern medications, the side effects are sometimes as bad as(or worse than) the affliction itself.   :clapper:    :goldtooth:

Had two scopes this morning to see if they could find where I'm bleeding internally.  The scopes showed no bleeding or any abnormalities! Praise God! Now I'm believing that the blood and junk that showed up is what my oncologist said would be a low probability and that is its the dead cancer cells the body is flushing out of the system!

Well the prep for the scope really weakened me. I got up to empty the colostomy at 3:30am the day of the scopes and I got dizzy and fell. I must have kicked something in the bathroom and it appears I  broke my foot. It didn't bother me until last night and kept getting worse until I couldn't sleep anymore. The pain level has been so great my body has been shaking like a dog pooping razor blades. I took an oxycodone and it doesn't faze the pain so I really need prayers for relief from this. Ice and elevation do nothing.
