Sigh...no guarantee with the way courts work today, but if there is justice, that woman shouldn't have a child, she needs to be put in lock down rehab...

Hard to kick the habit.  Remember years ago a gal we knew was rich and played with the druggie crowd went to visit a friend in detox/rehab.

our gal was shaken.  came back to share she asked her friend, "Can you kick this heronie habit?" Her friend's reply put her in a tail spin.  The junkie said, "oh, dearie, we never try to quit, just do rehab to get our dependency back to where we can afford it!"

Talk about a lost cause... and that was 20-30 yrs ago...some memories never fade... whew!  :(

This mess is something you never think you would ever go through. I am going to back off for a while. The stress is tearing me down. I need to get away from this but can't.

Hopefully Tuesday this court will be final. My son has had his daughter for over 2 months with NO contact from her mother. She is on the run from 2 felons. Granddaughter says mommy left me. What did I do ? Breaks our hearts for a 3 year old asking that.

Dan,

From my background, I learned that children often blame themselves even for divorces...they figured it was their fault...

Gentle explanations and if needed, later counseling, is sometimes required to help them see thru that.

Prayers the court situation is resolved positively so we can turn prayer attention to the wee one's benefit!

Thank you all again. Seems the evil one is always at war with my family. I do know if nothing was happening Satan has us right where he wants us. He only attacks I believe those who are working for the Kingdom.

I'd say that he attacks those closest to God the hardest, but evil abounds in this realm.

It is over . my son has full custody of his daughter. Her mother is ordered to pay support to him and all lawyer fees. I truly feel bad for her, but she is the one who has messed up so badly.
Brothers thank you for praying for this little one.

Praise God! I am so glad for you and will continue to pray for your son, granddaughter, and his ex.

We all need more of Jesus!  And always will...

What a relief it must be to you for this decision... Prayers for changes that benefit all in His time according to His WILL!

Keep, keeping the Son in your eyes!
