My wife needs the Lords help
« on: September 15, 2016, 10:30:00 AM »
My wife, Julie, needs prayers please. We need righteous mens voices to be heard by our savior on my wifes behalf. She was diagnosed last week with colon cancer. She is getting a biopsy done tomarrow on a couple spots on her liver they saw. Thank you.

Mark,

Its a privilage to hold up your beloved wife Julie in prayer for healing and the nasty to be limited and surgically removable!

Many have done well with this... catching it early is key.  May the liver issue be a non issue!

God's will is perfect.  Try to find His Peace that passes all understanding as you walk thru this together...

We're here for you to share, rant, wail, whatever is needed... even in email if you'd druther...

Godspeed!  Keep us posted.

Thank you all so much. You will never know what all your prayers and thoughts mean to us. Julie is very grateful, you words touched her deeply. No word yet on the liver biopsy but they are pretty sure it is the same cancer that is in her colon that has spread. The oncologist has given us some good news though. The type of cancer is "hormonal". Very slow and non aggressive. No chemo or radiation. If they can not get all of it with surgery they will treat it with hormone therapy. So for now we continue with more DR appointments, wait for the test results then start scheduling for surgery. Looks like we will travel to Denver for that part of it. .

Gracious... I'm glad our thoughts touched your bride and you!

Sorry to hear the liver is involved...We only get one of those, but sounds like they have some good ideas..

Worry is worthless.  Rest in the Lord and trust that His Will is perfect beyond our understanding... I know that concept, but find it hard to embrace myself, let alone in the face of something like you two face.

Thank you, every one of you. We got the biopsy back on the liver and it is the same cancer as the colon. She is feeling well and has a great attitude. I have been married to Julie for forty years and she never fails to amaze me. Back to see two more dr's today then a three day series of nuclear scans next week.
