Family
« on: October 28, 2016, 12:21:00 PM »
I would really appreciate it if ya'll would lift up my family in prayer over the next week to 10 days. I will be leaving on a hunting trip this weekend. My wife and Son will be on their own. Please pray for their safety and that nothing break down while I'm away. I'll be headed to Kodiak, AK where its been raining for days. If you don't mind please also pray for good weather.

Thanks everyone

Gilbert,

It's admirable that you bring your family's welfare to us when you travel, but they're in God's hands... His will be done, but prayers for their safety and well being in your absence.

As for AK weather, isn't it supposed to suck?  Good luck hunting, I'm sure you're there by now and belly deep in whatever!  Have fun...

Doc I always love your wisdom.  At the airport now, land in AK at midnight. I know the weather supposed to suck but no harm in praying for some sunshine.  I really appreciate your prayers. Take care

Gilbert, dunno about any "wisdom" but thanks.

Nope...doesn't hurt to ask for your heart's desire, but to have the heart to accept what is.

Family will be fine, I'm sure... and it can help strengthen them to deal with whatever.

So enjoy your trip, rest in His Grace and let us know of your fun on your return!
