Prayers for son and pup.
« on: January 25, 2017, 10:28:00 PM »
My family could really use some prayers for our son and our new pup. Yesterday my 11yo stepped on a nail, not horrible but it's got some fever periodically. At the same time our new to us black lab pup apparently ate a nerf ball and now has a blockage in her stomach/intestines.
My son is doing ok but the dog is going down hill fast.
Could really use some extra prayers of possible.

Amen, Father God I praise you that the love and care You have for us is so infinately greater then what we feel. You have provided all we need in Jesus. So in Jesus name I speak healing to Albert's son and dog. By Your stripes Jesus they were healed.
But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Praying for both that God will heal both.
I had a brother step on a 2x2 in 1970 and went clear through the tennis shoe and foot and came out on top.Dr.took it out and about 3 or 4 weeks later our pony stepped on it and he reopened the wound but it did heal.
God please heal both Albert's son and their new pup.
  Amen.<")))><

Prayers up for both... tough call sometimes on pets, but each must make their own tough choices that tempt others to judge.  Don't let it happen to you...

Best wishes. Prayers up for healing on both!

A little update. So far so good my son is doing all right, the dog however has passed and out of an abundance of caution the vet wanted to send her away for rabies test. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes throughout this endeavor, continued prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Rabies is nothing to fool with... continued prayers for all to be well, go well and healing for all both physical and spiritual to continue.

Keep the Son in your eyes!

All came back in the clear! Thanks be to God! We were worried because she had licked several of us in the face. The vet said some of her symptoms near the moment of death were reminiscent of rabies so that's what caused concern. Predominantly bulging red eyes and some other stuff that suggests neurological issues. When they did the necropsy they found some how she had a disarticulation in her cervical vertebrae but no trauma to the are, very baffling. However, that could have been the cause of the neurological disorder, possibly from a seizure?!?!

Anywho, my sons foot is doing very well. He had some pretty good swelling in the top side but amoxicillin has worked wonders for it. All this happened right at the same time along with some financial issues of a good but stressful type.

Our Lord has taken care of us. Thank for the prayers.

Thanks for sharing your prayer need!  Glad the rabies thing is negative!  Glad your son's foot is healing... the rest is just part of life at times.
