Prayers for Ken Mowrey (adkmountainken)
« on: February 10, 2017, 04:33:00 PM »
ADKmountain fell and injured himself but he's too stubborn to come here to ask for our prayers, so I'm asking for him...

He lit on his shoulder and felt things go crunch, but his work situation isn't conducive to filing accident claims apparently... intimidation works!

So he's healing slowly... prayers asked for healing and insight to what is best for he and his family...

We have heard of his injury and have been urging him to get medical attention quickly. Already including him in prayers. We all hope he gets well soon.

Yes, Sam, it was on PW, but KEn's responses are such that he's young, strong and his employer seems to have an attitude he's not willing to buck.

So I figured might as well bring one of our own to the fore...

Thanks for your prayers, one and all!  He is a good-hearted man who considers others before self from what I see.

I'm glad you're at least starting the battle royale!

I hate the fact that things of our youth come back to haunt us as we age, but I'm living that dream now...    :knothead:

I hate that you're tied up and hurting... and intimidation is part of the profit scene these days for sure, which equally sucks.

The days of a company being dedicated to their employees is gone.  There are many reasons and it's been a progression over time, but when the Govt gets into the act, there is much rebellion and ramifications.

We all pray the best for you.  One day this will all be a distant memory but for now, the pain keeps it focused 3" off the tip of your nose.  You might have to start trolling for an attorney to help make this right...some are contingency based... shame to have to pay $$ to get what is rightfully yours to have!  :(

Keep the Son in your eyes.

I feel for you, I had a bout a few years ago with my lungs and hardening of my airways from breathing oil mist and bacteria at work.
I can tell you get a lawyer or at least talk to one.
Workers comp and your HR do not care about you no matter where you work. They took care of me alright and I thought I was set up for life for medicine and doc  visits, which the specialist said he had set up for me. They will drag you along and a little over two years you'll get a letter and you are screwed. Be careful and good luck.
I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!!

Ken,

YOu've gotten GOOD to GREAT advice from several sources on both threads... And an Attorney is one of them...don't think because you got the approval for a MRI that you won!  You haven't!

as another Ken (Rogers) sang, "Plenty of time for counting when the dealin's done"  This deal long way from over... and they'll woo ya, talk pretty to ya and then ram it to you later!

It's a shame but ONE claim on WC and their rate goes thru the roof for ever. Thank you Uncle Sam... so they're cranky... Gotta stay the distance and know all the speed bumps... You don't! Me either.  Attorneys get paid for that if they're any good!
