renewed request for prayers for Benbow
« on: October 12, 2017, 08:58:00 AM »
All of a sudden, I'd not heard from Galen and shot him a note...

Got this back..

it's been a really really tough week Dave if you can add this to the group I have been bordering running around edge of death but God is faithful and loving it's brought me peace in the midst of it. It's a tough row but he's at the oars

I only know what you all know from his sharing here, about the tumor in his innards.

He's been battling this gnarly thing for a lot of years and is a man of strong faith, but we can lift him up some.

If anyone hangs on the Bowyer's Bench where I guess Galen spends some time, let them know he's struggling, please.

Thanks   :notworthy:

Looks like I'm going to be discharged today I am so thankful for the turnaround that God is provided. God has so Faithfully, hard to talk about it, but He has provided more strength than I have ever had on my own His love has supported me and trust Him He's worth it and He's trustworthy. I can't thank you enough brothers

NO thanks wanted or needed, Galen.  Any recovery and blessing from God is thanks enough.

Prayers for His blessings to continue

I sure appreciate prayers for my wife she is so tired and so worn out but she stubbornly refuses to take healthy vitamins and minerals to help strengthen your body rather than the crap that she's taken now so just pray for wisdom for her and freedom from that stubbornness

Maxine has my prayers and wishes for enlightened discernment...

Dunno if she'd read that series of articles I just sent you...but if she did, it might help.

You're right.  There is a reason why most docs say all vitamins/minerals do is give you expensive urine...most of the ones on the market we could make in our Bathtub as the FDA doesn't monitor how made, under what conditions or the potency of what is CLAIMED to be in it.

That's why the Drug Companies wanted to take over Supplements...they wanted the benefits ad profits. Thankfully, that didn't happen. Caviet emptor

Well it looks like I could get discharged today. I will have to come back to the hospital every 48 hours for an injection of antibiotics along with taking antibiotics at home. Monday I'll start on the chemo again. I've been feeling pretty good doing some walking up and down the halls doing some lunges plus stretching. I've received excellent care which I'm very thankful for. Thank you for your prayers I thank the Lord Jesus for Hist tender comfort and mercy

Wow... I didn't realize you were still in the horsepistol, there, Galen!!!

How is Maxine doing?  Last post she was pretty run down herself...  :(

Hope things continue to improve and move your forward!

All I have heard of late, from Galen, is that it sounds like Galen has been struggling again..

I renew my prayers for his well being along with that of his beloved Maxine...
