Come on, guys...
This is a year and a half away. Gives you time to save up for it. The best bowhunt you can have in Africa! I'm not getting paid to bring hunters, just looking for people to join me.

How much is the joint, for how many critters. I thought thier would be just a friend and myself. Now I think his dad and brother inlaw and maybe one more are going. I just want to make sure we get a good chance at game. They put finding the write place in my lap. I here horror stories about blinds 60yds from the water hole or better yet none at all.

wapitimike, I am headed over there on the 13th and will let you know how it went when I get back. The blinds are suppose to be close with 20yds being a long shot I hope. It is a little more expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for. Chris.

Were not letting price be the deciding factor. It's the quality of the hunt that were looking for. My friend is most likely going to shoot another video. He has a number of them out. That's why if I get stuck picking the place I want to be sure it's good. We don't have to shoot the biggest or the best were more meat and spud hunter's!!

Hi, Mike...
I just got back from a Leopard hunt in Namibia. Sorry I didn't answer sooner.
Email me direct at
[email protected]
and then I can send an attachment with all the info.
Greater Kuduland has over 20 water holes. The ranches are HUGE! I haven't taken a shot at a water hole that was over 15 yards! Most are between 8-12 yards. This place is one of the best set up bowhunting ranches in all of southern Africa. I have been there 13 times and it just gets better every year.
I'll wait to hear from you by email.
Cheers...

Not only got the leopard, but took the biggest kudu I have ever seen in my life! 62 5/8"! Man, I am CRANKED! I don't know how to post pictures and don't know who posted the leopard shot, but I have photos of this kudu if someone can post it for me.
I hate this hi-tech stuff...I'm just too stoopit to learn how to do it.
What a hunt...I'm going back!
Cheers...

You have got to respect a guy who is completely dedicated to the hunt! That is Paul. What he has accomplished with traditional equipment is inspiring! Keep living the dream Bro, T

Well Paul me and my friend kept Greater Kudu Land warm for you. I just got back and I had a great time. I took 5 very nice animals with no shot over 18yds. I am taller than Paul but not smarter because I don't know how to post pictures either. You can see them at tradtalk though. I won't be able to go back for a long time. But the memories will last forever. I would recomend this place to anyone. They treat the family well.

Groundhunter, There are a lot of impala there. You will have multiple shot oportunities good sized impala everyday. You will have to hold out for one over 23". They have a lot in the 21" range. And we did see several 24 - 25" just not at my water holes. The only thing I would suggest if you are shooting the bows listed in your post is to learn to can't your bow quite a bit. I think too short designed most of the blinds and me being 6'4" I had to can't with my 60" DAS. But most of the blinds have a lot of room. Good luck. Chris.

As Chris said, more Impala than you can shake a stick at! My best so far is 26". I have seen a couple that would go close to 28". You will see hundreds of them.
Email me directly at
[email protected]
for a write up I did on the hunt. I can send it to you as an attachment.
Chris...I don't know WHO designed the blinds. I have to stand on a rock to shoot in some of them! They are great for a guy around 5' 10".

cch, thanks for the scoop! Cant I can, as I practice both ways. Being a 5' 7 3/4" large dwarf, I fit in dwarfish setups.
I'd like the scoop on the hunt, if open spots remain. I sent an email.

GroundHunter...
I haven't received an email from you. Yes, we have openings on the first two week hunt and the third two week hunt.
I have a good write up on the hunt that I can send you as an attachment once I receive an email from you.
REMEMBER: I am not a paid booking agent, so you get straight scoop!
