Greetings

I have no personal experience of this company, but they are known to me.

They are one of the more expensive safari companies in SA but as far as I know they have a good reputation. I do know they cater for overseas guests, so their prices are somewhat high when measured in SA Rand rather than dollar.

I can’t say how good they are but I am sure there are far worse. They are a bit more of a luxury resort than the places I generally go to. More of a vacation destination than a hunting venue as I understand it.

Sorry I can’t help more.

Cheers from South Africa

I just got back from hunting with them. It was a great experience. You're treated well, fed well, and the hunting is always successful. They have lots of animals and are very knowledgable with game and ranch management. You hunt from blinds, with a guide, no stalking. I got a kudu, gemsbok and impala with my recurve. They are a very nice group of PHs and they cater to S. Africa tours and other interests as well. I would recommend them!

hunter chick:

Women are far better bowhunters than men, in many cases.  More patient and less likely to take marginal shots.

CONGRATULATIONS!

I don't have an internet photo book to post the pictures from but I got a really nice impala, gemsbok, and kudu while I was there. It was a blast. I guess they don't get many traditional archers in S. Africa. We were one of the few and they'e never had a woman as young as I am either. Everyone is SO nice over there.  :)  Good luck!

You are right, there aren't 'so many trad hunters' but more than you think! We are able to muster 60+ at an annual trad only shoot (3d/fun shoot gettogether) maybe 150 nationally who'd call themselves trad hunters. There are some ladies who bowhunt. Ask Rean at Africa's Bowhunter for the stats. Watch me get shot down in flames now! Thanks for the nice comments about SA and hunting here.

hunterchic,

You sound really cool.  I have this young bowhunting friend I should introduce you to, I think you'd hit it off!  ; ^ )

Steve H, you are such a tease.

Send me your email address and I will send you some rarely, if ever, seen pics of hunterchic in Africa.  Likely send a few pics of dead things as well.

Am I the only one who thinks this is just a little disturbing? Are the girls and the dead things in the same pictures? If this was not a hunting forum I would now be geting a little worried.
