Wildebeast Charge (Video)
« on: August 22, 2009, 02:25:00 AM »
I'm back in Jberg from my trip with Dries Visser.
I have very Limited internet here but I was able to get this one uploaded. I have had a couple of pigs run at me but nothing quite as close as this one.

very good video, wildes are tough customers and while you said the shot was a little low most people hit too high and go over the lungs or hit the spine, not a slam dunk either, they are tough fellas. Penetration is a frequent problem  with wildes did you see how much the arrow swung about on the hit? There is the answer to the penetration the glancing bone hit threw all the other factors out of the window. No matter the head, shaft, bow weight etc. That leg bone is hard. He was a fighter for sure, you are lucky that he held up a little and the follow up shot was good, the right kind of hunt, fought through to the end!

Buff,

You should go national with your videos.  I enjoy your stuff more than anything I see on TV!

Great job on the camera-work, your wife has a excellent eye.
