TRADGANG Group Hunt in Africa 2012!!!!
Spiral Horn Safaris    :jumper:

Trad Gang proposal for August 2012 group hunt with Spiral Horn Safaris.

Hello all!  I am excited about being a tradgang sponsor!  I’ve had lots of PM’s and emails from interested members.  I’ve decided to offer a group hunt for 2012!!

I would love to have a group (or two) come over and hunt in August/September, 2012.  I am scheduling it out that far so that many people can save and plan for the trip.  I realize that times are tough economically and believe if we all plan for a trip over a year out, it will work best for everyone.

My suggestion is that we do two groups of 4 hunters per group.

Available dates are as follow:

August 9-18, 2012

September 9-18, 2012

These are spectacular dark moon dates prime time for bow hunters!

Each hunter will receive one impala male free!

Daily rates:

$200 per hunter

$150 for observers

This hunt can be anything you want it to be.  I offer spot and stalk, treestands, pop-up and permanent blinds for your hunting desires.  Waterhole, salt or trails; the options are endless.

So contact your friends, family, or anyone that might be up for a great Africa experience!  I would prefer that the hunt be all traditional archers but if you have a close friend or family member that is a compound shooter that will be fine…they will just have to sleep outside!  Just kidding!

Please feel free to ask me any questions.  I would love for this to be a great hunt for a great group of people!  Thanks, Louis

The above daily rates include the following:- Accommodation is quoted per person per day
•   The full use of all facilities in the camp such as the swimming pool and satellite television
•   A daily laundry service is also available at no extra cost
•   Full catering: early morning coffee & rusks, brunch, snacks, dinner, all soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in moderation
•   Hunting: a fully licensed Professional Hunter, trackers, skinners, all camp staff, transport to and from blinds, picking up of trophies, field preparation of any game taken and transportation of trophies to shipping company

The above daily rates excludes the following:- Accommodations prior to and after safari
•   Transport by vehicle between other Hunting Provinces
•   Trophy fees of animals bagged or wounded
•   Taxidermy work and shipping of trophies to final destination
•   Rifle hire - per Rifle per day (includes ammunition)
•   Gratuities
•   Arrival Day / Night at camp to be charged at Observer rates per person

This is a great offer!  These are prime bowhunting dates for almost half of the normal daily rate charge!  This will be a great Tradgang hunt.  I'm actually going over in July with Spiral Horn but might have to book again for next years Tradgang hunt!  Check out some pictures at:   www.spiralhorn.co.za

Hi Ben transport from JHB – SHS- JHB is free by truck should you wish to fly in with our private plane we can work out a quote for you.

I have had some questions about the deposit to secure a booking?

I would need $750 per hunter to secure your booking.

Hi Calgarychef

Yes it is possible with enough prior notice one can apply for a permit to allow you to hunt one with bow.

I have done it before while hunting in Zambia, it is fun but can be risky crocs sink so we generally shoot them with bow fishing gear and then with a normal two blander broadhead (preferably something like a German kinetics silver flame).

Well it depends on the size of the croc I would say that a 12ft croc will be in the area of $7 500 + 5 hunting day’s $1000 so you are looking at about $8500 total this would include trophy fee all licences as well as daily rate.

This price does not include taxidermy or shipping of trophy.

You can have a hell of a plains game hunt with that kind of money?

Hi guy’s

There is still space on the group hunt for 3 more Hunters?

We will be hunting my private Ranch of 5 000 acres and then an additional 25 000 acres of surrounding concession land so in total this would be 30 000 acres with more than 20 blinds mostly bit blinds however there are two elevated blinds. We will be the only hunters on the total 30 000 acres!

This is a long hunt with 13 full hunting days however experienced bow hunters will know the more time you have the more selective you can afford to be. These are good moon dates in as well as prime bow hunting dates.

I do realize that this will be a lot of time off for most guys however it is a severely discounted daily rate. This offer is limited to 3 more hunters since I would like to not have more than 4 hunters in camp for this hunt.

Usual price of hunt: $5 480
Total saving: $2 880

Please view Package below:

Price: $2 600

Includes:

13x Full Hunting Days
1x Arrival Day
1x Departure Day
1x Impala

The above rates include the following:

◦   Accommodation is quoted per person per day
◦   The full use of all facilities in the camp such as the swimming pool and satellite television
◦   A daily laundry service is also available at no extra cost
◦   Full catering: early morning coffee & rusks, brunch, snacks, dinner, all soft drinks and alcoholic beverages in moderation

◦   Hunting: a fully licensed Professional Hunter, trackers, skinners, all camp staff, transport to and from blinds, picking up of trophies, field preparation of any game taken and transportation of trophies to shipping company
◦   Transport by vehicle from Johannesburg International Airport

The above rates excludes the following:

◦   Accommodations prior to and after safari
◦   Transport by vehicle between other Hunting Provinces
◦   Taxidermy work and shipping of trophies to final destination
