Wondered where y'all were.
Glad you had fun and a safe trip back. Thanks for sharing.

Did you shoot a Shrew? I've been wondering what they shoot like.

Thanks for the pics. This is the first year in some time that I missed Kzoo and the photos help some.

Woodduck, do NOT test shoot a Shrew (unless you have your check book with you).

Brooks Johnson was a great guy to talk to. He signed my daughters hunting pic and took a picture with us. Everyone there is pleasant!
Just one more step please!

Great pics John!  For those who are a ways away from kzoo, you can get pretty cheap airfares to Michigan in january LOL!  I flew round trip from rural Oregon (3 flights each way) for $397.  That's half the cost of the same trip in June for Comptons.  It's a very worthwhile thing to do if meeting and talking to any of these folks is important to you.  Everyone there is as down to earth as you could imagine.  I had nice talks with John Dill, Ron LeClair, Bob Morrison, Brooks Johnson, Larry from German Ridge, Brian from Bowyers Journal, Ken Beck and Roger Fulton from BW, and other great folks.  It's a lot more than a shopping spree.  It's a chance to meet some exceptional people.  When I was younger, I passed up a chance to go to a similar event where Fred Bear was attending.  Now I don't have that option, and I'm forever kicking myself.  Next year save your quarters and hop a plane.  You'll be glad you did.

Mac
I got to handle a few of Ron's bows but did not get a chance to shoot one. Cindy and I were very busy running our booth. Ron LaClair has some of the nicest products bar none. I watched Ron shoot a little on the try out range and he can flat shoot his Shrews. I know that his bows were the talk of the show. I hope I can get one, one day. I would like to have a portable blind bow.
