St Judes gator hunt.

I finnally learned myself how to post piccies so I thought I`d share a piccie of Ken Giffords crocagator. He got it in the Kissimmee river, of Witchcraft of Archery fame.
We found the gator up a creek without enough water to hide in. We`ve been in a drought for the last year or two so levels are well down. Ken made a good first shot (okay the first one that connected was good, the first 2 shots.....not so much) The gator took off for the main river. We headed the gator off by cutting across the land and beating him around the bend. Eventually Ken stuck him again and the fun part of rolling him into the boat started.
I can`t thank Ken enough for his generosity and for being an all round good guy and snappy dresser, he didn`t even bat an eye when I told him I`d lost the keys to my truck and we were about 20 miles from help. Thanks Ken.

Never hunted gators. Hear the meat is good. What will you do with the hide? Just curious. Sounds like a great hunt.
