Kevin:
Maybe a little early to let the cat out of the bag, but I will be donating a copy of my first book which will be smoking-hot fresh off the presses here shortly...'My Neck of the Woods.'  209 pp., 45 chapters, 117 photos of stickbow hunting, adventure and philosophy.  Sent the proofs in yesterday and they tell me they will be ready on or around first week of March.  I know it's not a bit ticket item, but might make someone a nice door price.  Pretty excited here; only wish I could attend the banquet but as usual being head track coach makes it impossible.  Nine years till early retirement...

Well, Kevin has hit me up for some flies, so I have been sitting at the old vise for a while.  I've got 50 done, and may add a few more.  They will be in a Richard Wheatley (made in England) Silver Seal fly box.  The box alone is worth almost $100!  I didn’t really want to include the Woolly Buggers in a Wheatley fly box (kind of like wearing rubber boots with a tuxedo), but they are killer flies.  There are dry flies such as Adams, Blue Wing Olives, Elk Hair Caddis, Red Quill, Sulphers, Quigley Cripples (my favorite) and more.  Nymphs include Pheasant tails, Hairs ear, Al’s Caddis Pupa, CDC Loop Wing Emerger, and more.  A good selection for any trout angler.  I know a lot attending the banquet are also fly fishermen, especially those in the PA area,  so we thought this would be an attractive item.  I can already see Tippet going for these!  Wish the picture was better but it is about all my camera could do.  Tried to take pictures of some of the individual flies but that didn't work either.  Guess you will just have to see them at the banquet!

Bryce, outstanding!  Congratulations on seeing your project through.  Put me down for a copy when they get printed.  Autographed of course!
Steve, that collection of flies looks just amazing!  I think even I might be able to fool a trout with some of those, if we had trout in Illinois...
Ron, hope you can make it to the banquet!

WOW!

Now THAT should bring in some very useful funds!

Outstanding generosity, Chris.  My hat is off to you.
