Some new Cedars
« on: December 28, 2007, 05:52:00 PM »
I've been thinking about trying some cedars again, so I ordered a dozen from my friend Scott at Kirkwood archery.

Here they are, spliced cock fletch, crown dipped and crested with some grizz tracks inked on them, very sweet!

They fly like darts too. ;)   :)

Those sure are sweet looking, nothing is quite like the feel of real wood arrows.

The lazy do not roast any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Cool looking arrows.
How do you make the paw prints or are they available as some sort of sticker?

Beauties!  Fun to make, too.  There's an old saying..."Beware the man with one bow and wood arrows cause' he'll probably shoot your deer."  Something like that.   :)

They weigh in at about 540 gr. with my 160 points on them, just about perfect for my 54# Thunderbird. ;)

And man, are they rockets!  :)
I love my taped ash, but I may have to give cedar a serious look again, at least for 3D and hunting.
