New Years Resolutions
« on: December 29, 2007, 10:28:00 AM »
Here's my only 3 resolutions.#1 try to develop a closer walk with God, #2 is to lose another 75 to 80 lbs( 20 # so far), number 3 is to have my bow set up with the best arrow/broadhead combo I can put together. I've never been very good at arrow selection or tuning so expect a lot of questions. In fact as anyone whose ever been to the MoBoJam the same years I've been there can attest to the fact that I've always shot whatever arrow I pulled out of the quiver. It didn't matter much if they were straight, crooked, same weight or lenght, the problem was/is that it always showed up in my shooting. I think I also want to try for every little advantage I can get, be it SB broadhead or putting some kind of sighting system on, as long as I can still cant my bow.
Have a Happy, Safe and a Prosperous New Year!
So what are some others resolutions?
God bless,Mudd
ps the weight loss effort isn't just the run-of-the-mill reason for losing, my Dr says I'm borderline diabetic and the weight loss can prevent it from happening most likely.

Mudd, good job on the weight loss, good luck on reaching your goals.  For me, I also want to lose about 20 pounds and figure out my longbow.  I love shooting it and we have days where everything clicks then a few days later I'm shootin like ray charles...hope everyone has a happy new year.

I plan to walk closer with God.  I need to drop 25# to get back into "fighting weight".  I would also like to build my first longbow.

Well, this'll be year 7 that my resolution is to get a deer. But, if I had to choose something else, I'd have to say put in a good, solid effort to squeeze every ounce of accuracy from my setup...

I'm with Squirrel bait,I've got to find a woman that understands that Traditional bowhunting comes just a tad bit before she does.At least during bowseason.

If you want a woman to settle for being second, I suggest you stay single.

I plan to drop the twenty pounds that last years resolution put on me ( I quit smoking last year).
