Bill,
Awesome pics.  That type of angle here hopefully equals dead deer.

Shoot ??? aw, heck no....them's my bait !   :D

I generally have at least one doe under 15 yards everytime I go out there...depending on what stand I use. They do a nice job helping to pull in the neighborhood bucks, and the kids I take out here can most generally fill their tag with a doe if I can't get them on a buck.  Last year, kids took 3 bucks and 3 does from out back....all with bows except for one with shotgun.  Not bad for only 10 acres of woods, eh?  'course, there's the swamp, the creek and the food plots too.

God Bless.

God Bless.

Finally!!! Hunted with wheels for years without even getting a shot. First year of trad is turning out to be my best season ever. Missed one two weeks ago (too excited), shot (good hit) and lost one last week    :(

But it all came together yesterday!! First bow kill and first trad one all in one. And did it with my own home built arrows! No words for this!! Thanks for the help getting started everyone.

A sow I shot the first evening of our trip to Cape York. The sows up there are very aggressive as are all of the pigs, in the area where I hunt they don't have a lot of human contact but they are under constant from dingos. Threaten on of the little ones and the whole mob will gang up on you....Glenn...

My hunting mate stalking a good boar in Cape York. You can tell a good boar by their long straight tail. Pig is digging amongst the paperbark trees in the sand for frogs....Glenn....

Jack Nicholson...really Meathook? That's a first. Well it was a long evening between check stations and driving back to PA where I took some quick pictures before hanging her up and heading out to work the midnight shift. Might explain why I looked a little crazy to you   "[tunglaff]"

Kyle,

That sounds like a winner! Send me pm or e-mail and we will do it. I always like getting together on hunts in new places and makin' new huntin' buddies. Do you know Mark (Pappy) and the Baggett crew in Clarksville? Great folks, and they put on a great shoot.

Doug,

My wife and I got married in Livingston. Lived out there six months total. Our plan (dream) is to settle there in a couple years after I'm done with school here. I check this thread daily in anticipation of your posts, and call my wife in here every time theres a new pic. How 'bout someday soon you teach me the ropes on elk, mulies, and antelope?

Aussie,

Wow! A compliment all the way from Australia. Thanks man!

Saturday morning this turkey ran into one of my rivercane arrows! I was using a BBO that I had just finished. It was it's first trip to the woods! I think it's gonna work. Ralph   [/IMG]

Nah, Brian H looks more like that guy in Full Metal Jacket that was setting on the toilet with his rifle. Good job Brian.
