You and Terry are welcome to come up here anytime you want, heck I'd put you guys right in that stand.  Be forwarned though, it is starting to get a litle chilly up here, it was 30 this morning, and still only 35 at 9 am. There may be one less of them bears tommorrow if they keep it up.

Nice job.  Nice bow, and come to think of it, nice camo too. (In case you can't tell, I shoot a Morrison and wear Predator camo.  Now all I need is the deer to go with it.)

Thanks David, I'm a big fan of both Bob Morrison's bows and Predator.  I don't think you can do any better than both! Hope ya get one...if not at least you're seen bears.

Now don't tease me about coming to see you...I might just show up with bow in hand for a bear! 30 degrees huh? We'll have temps that cold here too....but it's usually end of December.  :bigsmyl:  Hard to beat Georgia: 12 deer limit, mild temps, and pretty women.

This photo is a bit late...but this is what we woke up to on 7 Sept. on our elk trip.

My two cents worth

No teasing there, JC.  If you said you wanted to come up to try for bear, you would be more than welcome.  No bears today, not sure if it was the weather change or the start of muzzleloader season.  We'll see tommorrow,

A couple of young red stags showing some promise for next year or the year after in the Mary Valley. The stag on the left is going to be a ripper.

Snuck up on this little guy in his bed while still-hunting through an ash/oak grove last evening.  Had a standing agreement with the property owner to shoot a spike if I could.  He made me at about 18 yards and stood up to walk away and I let him have it.  Good fun.

I was sneaking through my favorite squirrell area this morning. Had some new "Natural Gear" camo, that I was all hot to try out. As the sun came over the hill, I realized, that no matter how much one tries to blend in, there is no getting away from your shadow.

A small tree squirrel from the California Sierra's. "Chickory squirrel" is what I think they are called. This fellow stood and barked at me just a little too long this morning. Entered the woods, with 5 arrows. Exited the woods with one. The trees have all the rest.

Heres a more recent picture of my first bow kill. Maybe if more people were willing to hunt what they eat, and eat what they hunt, more people would be living...

Here's the Circle of Death Gang in the ND Badlands last week. Bunch of happy trad hunters relaxing in big deer country along the Little Missouri River breaks.

A couple of pictures of a boar I shot on the hunt to Cape York. Stalked to under 10 yards and when the arrow hit he gave a big whoof and spun around to face me, I was thinking this isin't good as I was hooked up the arse last year but he just trotted of about 50 yards and went down.

Awesome Glenn. Nice boar. You're photos from down under are just great.  While I am into bear and deer here, I have nothing like that around where I'm from.

Bear,
Great pic.  It's 6:40 am here, and I'd you've got my mouth watering with that dish.
