This is a third year Buck making these Rubs. I've video'd this one each year till now. He is looking quite nice this year. Maybe I'll be able to get some pics of him. CK

Yes Jock the Mary Valley and the Brisbane Valley run parallel to each otherbut east ans west of the Great Dividing Range. The Brisbane Valley runs north-south and the Mary runs south-north. Where I live Maleny is on the headwaters of the Mary Valley. There are red deer close to town but I hunt about an hour up the road.
Sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, I was using the digital zoom going for some of these photos.
A good red double six stag.

Pretty buck Ralph. Your quiver is different, whats it made of?
Enjoying the pics Glen. Different country.
CK. Do those deer have ta find something without thorns to make a scrape or are they just a little tougher than ours?

Glen,
The photo of the "Royal" is excellent, one of the forrests that I've stalked is blessed with stags of this quality, unfortunately not with a Bow though, kinda fraustrating, but at least I get to watch them up close, keep those photos comming, great to see the beasts and lanscapes of different countries.

Robin, The tree has thorns all over it. The Bucks don't seem to mind. All the thorns are gone after they finish. ck

Jock there are a lot of very good red deer in this area. The origional release of red deer in the late 18000's in Queensland were of Scottish blood also called the Windsor deer.
Another double six with a small harem, pity it was raining when I took this photo.
A very good double five hoofing it across the paddock, this bloke was on mission.

Steven, there are a couple of good threads about posting pics on the POW WOW. Look for them and they'll tell you everything you need to know. Just make sure they're not too big.

Good pics guys.
Today was the first day of our late blacktail season.....I spotted a good buck a couple hundred yards out but he had me spotted also...
I put my bow down and grabbed my camera to play with him a bit when this brusier busted out right below me...
Oh Well, at least I had my camera ready and was able to get this shot...

Great pics guys! Unfortunately, some of you are "still" posting pics that are way, way, way over size. It makes t impossible for dial-up users to download the pics. It took me 10 minutes yesterday to see the whole page. If you can't post a pic under 600 pixels, please do not post. If it take a long time to download, people don't want to see the pics. Thanks, CK
Here is a pic of a young little fella that was chasing a Doe round and round yesterday. He has a couple of years more growth. Then he better watch out. CK
