Ralph,
Uh oh. Great pic.
Meat,
Again, great video. I love this thread.
I couldn't get Skinner's pic up, but sounds like he shot a good one.

O.K., so I wasnt actually hunting (the NPS rangers would have gotten very upset) but I just had to share these pics from a little walk in the woods my wife and I took last week.
I lived on the beach in Florida for three years, SW Montana for six months, and now here! God has been generous!
(Hope ya'll dont mind me gettin' all filisofikal)

Here is a pic of a good Chital(Axis) stag that a good mate of mine shot after a taxing stalk on foot. Three hours earlier I was 12 yards kneeling from this fella and he busted me drawing on him... The stag than walked over to Dans hunting area and BANG Dan puts an arra into him! That's what mates are for... hay? I think anyway
The bow was made by Mr Glenn Newell from here in Oz.A real gentleman and top bowmaker.

Well my Indiana trip was awesome! Saw several big bucks (missed one at 22 yrds) and killed my first deer with trad equipment. Big fat doe at about 6 yards with a 58" Treadway longbow 55# @27". Made a good hit, arrow hit right where I was looking - deer ran 40 yards and dropped within sight. The whole thing was on video too! My huntin buddy tagged out on his buck the first morning of our hunt (compound). Trying to post a pic from Webshots

My hunting partner just developed his latest roll of trailcam photos. I don't think this image could have been staged any better. I think this guy is thanking the big guy upstairs for one more sunset. What do you think?

Here is one more. We have been watching this guy for quite some time now. My partner and I both have him on video and have seen him in the flesh....but no shot....YET.
The photo is great but it really doesn't do him justice. The width is an accurate view, but his height, mass and main beam length are reduced substantially by the angles in the photo.
He is awesome to watch. He's been running the girls for 9 days now. I hope he gets tired soon, slows down and goes for a nice stroll by my sling spot

The shot with the deer looking back is amazing, like it was posed.

Awesome pic of the sunset and buck...I put a trailcam out under my ladderstand to see what was walking by for the opener saturday...While I got several nice blacktail bucks ,I thought this was interesting..
I had my camera set at big buck height and he was just on the inside of the trail so I missed..LOL
he heard the camera take the first pic and now is investigating the sound...
I do have a cougar tag in my hot little pocket and he better not try that whilst I am in my stand

Santiam,
I've been waiting to see the same thing in my trail cam pic. Too darn many of those things running around. I hope you get him.
I've got a cool pic I'll post tonight, when I get home from church, of a good four point.
