Daniel,
I don't think that bear came for the cranberries, I bet he could smell the pork chops you had at the Jamboree!!! He should make a nice pot of stew or two this winter.
Congratulations.
Regards, Bert  :scared:    :scared:    :bigsmyl:

Dan,
Beautifull animal, and sounds like a perfect shot was made, I would expect no less.

Perhaps you could send me a small section of those backstraps along with that knife that "just wont sell"

Well done my friend.

I went out this morning grouse hunting and ended up bagging this snowshoe hare.  Shot it with a judo at about 15 yards with my Black Widow PMA II 62 @ 32.

Last week in central Montana, four trad bowhunters took four mule deer bucks in four days all spot and stalk!
Here's mine...the smallest of the four.

Congrats to all!!! Glad to see everyone out there enjoying themselves with their stickbows!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.
