We've had two snows, both less than an inch, and they both lasted about 36-48 hours before melting off. There's talk of some more maybe tonight/tomorrow. Hopefully tonight because that could mean a SNOW DAY (no school) and then I could get back out there.
We had exactly ONE DAY of snow all last year in eastern Nebraska during bow season. And it was Dec. 31--the last day of the season. Would've felt guilty not hunting the last day of the season, so went out and stalked and killed a doe at last light in a picked bean field (okay, there was a waterway/cane strip down the middle that I used as cover) wearing snow camo. Killing does can be as exciting as you want to make it!
