I'm going to say "Howdy" but I don't think I'm going to like him much Terry. It's hard to like a guys who shoots better than me, especially when he just starting out.  :readit:    :bigsmyl:

Just kidding! Good to know we have another brother in club! You say you're going hog hunting? Immediately peaked my interest! CK

Welcome home Mike....looking forward to sharing a camp with you. This here stickbow stuff will enrich your life, with not only adventure and hunting experiences but lifelong friends who share a common heart-thread. Moreso than any other thing I've ever done...

Good on ya Terry. Course, he's not the first and probably not the last you've relit the trad fire in.

Welcome Mike,

You will never look back my brother. I started with a longbow in 05', harvested two deer that year and have been skunked this year, but have had a blast trying. My only regret is that I would have started traditional bowhunting 20 years ago. Happy holidays.

Terry; Way to go! Mike; Glad you are aboard. I returned to the longbow after a 30 yr. absense and I'm still Charged every time I shoot it.

Thanks for the warm welcome for Mike, much appreciated for sure.

That's a MOAB he's shooting, and that's what he's got on order.

And yes, we could learn some tactics from him, he's been around the wood lot more than most.  We stayed up late around the fire this weekend after the others went to bed......telling stories and picking each other's brains.....we had a lot of catching up to do, and I realy hate it that we went that many years without hunting together....but we are going to try an make up for it.

Thanks again guys.

Terry,

I remember you taking more than one mid-day out of elk cam to teach someone else how to shoot. Well done again!
