I haven't had a lot of luck making sinew backs look pretty so I just cover them all with snakeskins.
Take a kid hunting!

Here is Chris just starting to lay down the dye...

...and here we just lightly sprayed some gloss on to set the dye, then we will hit her hard with brush on gloss varathane...

This bow looks awesome. It is only going to get better with the clear coat.
...gosh this is hard.

Chris had decided to not use the beaver tail. didnt think it would go with the new snake theme. Prolly go with some black leather I got off Marty Horne last Mojam.

(Thant means I get to keep the beaver myself...haha)

alright...The C-Dawg went home last night after spending a couple more days working on his bow. He finished it. Got about 10 thin hand rubbed in coats of gloss varathane, then sprayed a couple on top of that. He came up with the idea for the handle wrap himself.

What do you think?

He was a little choked that he would have to wait days for the clear coat to set up...LOL.

He made up his own version of a "ferret floppy" it has both sides 'sewn' and then it 'sewn' onto the leather. adjustable. kids got talent.
...gosh this is hard.
