Adam, I have sprayed on polycrylic (I think that's what it was) but haven't ever dipped with it.  Do you cut it with anything or just use it full strength?

if you mean thin it, i dont. just use it like it comes out of the can. works great. even when they are dry, they feel a bit sticky, but that goes away when you rub down with 0000 steel wool.

ok, sorry about the delay. nothing is going right with this build along. youll see in the next few pics of what happened. ok, you take your knife  and cut out the quills where you want you splice to be.     dab a bit of duco on the splice  and glue down on the quill.    if you use a chopper, chop the feathers now. if you use a burner, go to next step.
put the feather in you clamp and put a steady stream of fletch glue. when using non bohning finishes like i am, use duco. it will stick to anything.
here are the arrows after they are out of the jig.
now put them on the burner. make sure you have it lined up good, cause if you dont, it will look bad and possibly burn the shaft, not that ive ever done that.

the finished product. they shoot as good as the look.

thaks for staying tuned and being patient.
