Jasper neck knife
« on: July 14, 2011, 06:19:00 PM »
A beautiful jasper ( looks to be Tecovas to me) blade by Grady Bowen at bustedflakes gallery. I have hafted this sharp blade into a proximal phalanx bone with pine pitch and back sinew.
The neck type sheath is Elk and Deer rawhide with a Goathide liner and fringe. It is laced with dyed, twisted Woodchuck rawhide. It has an adjustable neck thong made of brain tan buckskin with two tooth adjusters. The wrist thong is brain tan buckskin as well. This is a fine useable knife. SOLD
