These three bows have been here long enough. With the family health issues we have had to experience lately, I wasn't able to make it to but only two shoots last spring/summer and none during the fall...so we didn't get enough people to try these bows...but we need to sell them, so I have since discounted them tremendously in order to move them out.
Bow 1 - I will let the 62" bow go for $425. It is a 62" Protege Longbow model (our bow prior to carbon being standard) and the bow is 58#@28." It is a right handed draw. This bow would be the exact same bow as what we now call the "Protege Competition" (but without carbon). It has a bubinga riser with a 1/4" phenolic reinforcement. The limbs are clear glass on the back and belly with a core of bamboo (or back the backside of the core) and edge grain red elm (on the belly side of the core). The grip is a traditional grip with a slight locator. Tip overlays are bubinga over black phenolic and this bow, has the wider fadeout extending its maximum draw length of 28," and would be very suitable at 26" and a 27" draw. (Note: this bow is 52#@26" and 55#@27"). The list price for this bow (when it was offered under the Protege name) was $595, but the current price for this bow would be $645 (without carbon); however, we have this bow reduced to $425 as this bow is ready to ship and I need to sell it.

Bow 2 (SOLD) - I will let this non-carbon version of our 56" Hunter series longbow (our highly reflex/deflex design) go for $325. It is a light weight bow of 38#@28" of draw. This bow only gains 2# per inch and is 40#@29" without showing signs of stack...but I would consider that the maximum draw for this shorter length bow.
The long section of the riser is canary wood and it displays excellent grain. The short riser section is purple heart. The accent stripes include two 1/16" tan phenolic stripes outlining a center 1/8" black phenolic strip. The riser overlays on the back and belly are purple heart. The tip overlays are deer antler over purple heart and black phenolic. The grip is medium size and the contemporary "pistol" style with a hand stitched black elk hide. The back and belly are clear glass, with a zebra wood veneer on the back, edge grain red elm core, and flat grain red elm belly. Normally $645, but this bow is discounted to $325 as it is pretty much a specialty bow being so light in draw weight and it is ready to ship now.
