I just finished up this prototype for my new compact Scout model. This is a basically a smaller version of my full size scout.
It has a 3.5" blade in Acid washed CPM-154. The handle is some sweet maroon linen micarta with carbon fiber pins and a copper tube.
The tang is tapered and the spine is polished all the way around. It is a very comfortable knife and would be a great hunter or EDC.
I am very pleased with how this one came out and I sure will be doing more of this model. But there is only one Prototype. : )
The sheath is special too, as it is hand stitched with 150#, heavy duty kevlar thread. This stuff is tough!!
