Southeast Alaska

Robertson Stykbow Purist  55#@26
Ramin Shaft
160gr Ribtek

Stalked to 10 yards in the wide open on a black bear that was feeding on and guarding a dead bear.  I shot the bear as he was laying down and the arrow clipped his carotid artery in his neck.  He jumped to his feet with a roar and ran 70 yards.  He never made it to the treeline.  He left an incredible blood trail.  Originally posted as "Follow the Bloodtrail"
