It came in at 56#@28". It is so quiet. I was shooting some 80-84#POC and some GT5575s out of it that I had made up for another bow. It shoots with authority but kind of "stealthy like"....if you know what I mean. I think that cork gasket between the limbs and the riser helps reduce vibration and quiets it down....? The limbs have a pretty severe bend up near the ends too...that provides the power stroke! lol

80-84 POC?? That heavy a spine? What is the total grain weight of those? I know what you mean about the stealth factor, that is one quiet bow that shoots flatter than it feels it should.
I never had a takedown before, I am glad I like this one as much as I do. And I am certainly glad that yours has made it home, your whining was driving me crazy.

Dang! That's one purty bow. About as good-looking as I've seen in a while.

Snag, I thought I had seen some like that before. I have a back quiver by Shell. I may have to look into getting a pair of those limb bolts.

Pretty bow. My Cheyene is 60#@28" and 56" and I am shooting 700 gr Vapor Carbonwood 4000s out of it. I also likes my 800gr 70/75 Alaskan Forgewoods. Killed 4 or 5 rabbits,a turkey and a couple of quail with it in West Texas and South Texas. Now waiting for my Shawnee with recurve limbs, is a 58" bow (B riser and B limbs) and 62#@28" should be here any day now.

I talked to Bob Morrison today. My limbs missed weight and he is building a new set. Should be ready in a week! I'm going to be worse than my kids counting down to Christmas!!!

I shot some 80-84# POC 29" w/ 160gr tips out of this bow yesterday. They flew pretty good. Advice on carbons with this bow? I have some GT5575s.

Axis/Beman 400's with standard aluminum insert and 200gr head could probably be tuned pretty well to that bow and get you weights in the low 500's...at least when I shot em out of a similar cheyenne they did. Certainly shoot great outta my 57@27 shrew.

I only have experience with GTs. You obviously feel the Axis is a better carbon...?

Just my experience....but GT's are fragile compared to Carbon express and axis-type shafts I've used.

I decided to bareshaft some POC 85-90# shafts w/ 160gr tips. They came in at 29" and this bow makes good use of them. I have found that the grip is very comfortable. The more I shoot it the more consistant it lays in my hand. It really shoots where you look. Quite a bow.
